![]() Thursday, November 22, 2001 -- Happy Thanksgiving Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!! I have to say that I think the end of Friends was a zillion times funnier to those of us who not only needed room for the turkey, but also needed room for a baby!!!!
One of the things I'm most thankful for is that I am having an easy, uneventful pregnancy. Other than my hips complaining every time I get into bed, I'm feeling very good. I never threw up, my digestive system is holding up amazingly well, I'm not swollen, my skin and hair are not causing any problems, the baby is growing well, I haven't gained a ton of weight, my blood pressure is still ridiculously low, my teeth and gums are fine, I don't have gestational diabetes, and I'm not on bedrest or at risk for premature labor. Now, let's hope the rest of it and the birth follow the same pattern! In the mean time we're just enjoying the daily kick show!
Pete and I cooked too much food for just the two of us. We made an eleven pound turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, miso soup, greenbean casserole, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin pie for dessert. We won't have to cook for weeks! We did use our china and candles and our dining room table. The kittens slept on the chairs at the table while we were eating, so we had the whole family at dinner.
